Twilight

My Review:
It's not that well-written.
There are major parts of the plot and characters that bugged me while I read it.
I have very little in common with the main character.
The heart-throb Edward really isn't my type.
AND I LOVE IT!!!! I can't wait to start "New Moon."
(P.S. Sorry, Kjirsten! :) )

We're reading "Twilight" for bookclub in July. Can't wait to compare notes with all you Edward and Bella fans!

What is it about that book that captures so many people? All I can say is I'm counting down the days to August 2. :)

Oh, Abbi, Abbi, Abbi. Many have fallen under the vampire's spell, but I judged better things of you. We really need to talk. I'll get ahold of you in a few days, right after I finish reading "Eclpise".(I still don't like Bella, but I have to see what happens to that cute werewolf boy,________. I can't tell you his name, you'll understand when you've read New Moon)

I got sucked into those too. I read all three in a week. It seemed like she didn't do a very good job on descriptions. I could never get a good picture in my head of the characters. I always have in other books. I still liked them though.

They are rather addictive books. I've read all 3 in the series so far. I think Eclipse was my favorite. I read The Host too a few weeks ago. Happy reading!

You crack me up! At least you finished it, and LOVED it!!! So if Edward is not your type, is Jacob?

I'm with you ABBS, I have read all of them because Kami bought them and let me borow them. Sometimes, I'm saying, "Oh, come on, give me a break" but they are kinda fun, in a highschool kinda way. I want to see the movie coming up to see how they play the characters.

Ha ha! I felt the same way. While I was reading it, I tried to explain it to a couple people and I felt ridiculous...and yet I was glued to it! You'll love it!

I did the same thing... When I would explain them to someone, and when someone told me about them. I thought that sounds really lame. I think something the author said is right on. She said I'm not a writer I'm a story teller. And sometimes after a long day with kids, some easy reading is just what I need.
